Data Controls
TimeCampus is built on the principle that your time data is yours. This page covers the controls you have over it: correcting it, exporting it, and understanding what is stored.
Correcting your data
Automatic capture is a starting point, not the last word. You can:
- Edit or delete time entries captured or entered on your behalf
- Recategorize activity on the Timeline — and TimeCampus learns from the correction, so future activity in that app is categorised the way you prefer
- Add manual entries for work that happened away from a connected tool
Corrections aren't just cosmetic; the system uses them to get categorisation right over time.
Exporting your data
TimeCampus reports and timesheets are exportable, so your data is never trapped. You can produce client-ready timesheets and project breakdowns, and take your records with you. Exports run on the platform's shared export foundation, which handles large exports asynchronously.
What is — and isn't — stored
TimeCampus stores the tracked units of work it needs to give you insight: time entries, meetings, pomodoro sessions, email time, and normalised capture events from your connected channels.
It does not store screenshots, keystrokes, or continuous surveillance data — those are never captured in the first place (see the Privacy Model). Records are soft-deleted, and activity is audited through the platform's audit foundation so there's an honest trail of what changed.
Governance
Access to data within a workspace is governed by role-based access control — see Access Control. Multi-tenant isolation keeps each workspace's and tenant's data separate.
