Time well spent

Open Time Well Spent at /timecampus/time-well-spent to compare the proportions of your recorded time with your declared priorities. The score measures alignment with those priorities, not work output, happiness or health.

What the score uses

Desired shares come from positive balance targets first. If there are no usable targets, active values supply the desired shares: each value's non-negative weight is divided across its linked domains, then the domain weights are normalised.

For actual domain shares a and desired shares v, the score is:

score = clamp(1 - 0.5 × sum(abs(a - v)), 0, 1)

A higher score means the recorded proportions are closer to the declared proportions. Increasing work hours is not part of this formula. Goals do not replace targets or value weights in this calculation.

If neither targets nor active values provide a positive desired distribution, the score is unavailable (null), not zero. You can still inspect the recorded shares. The view uses the life timeline's domains; the Life Balance break-to-self-care preference is not applied here.

Check coverage too

Coverage confidence is the fraction of the selected range covered by recorded time, bounded between zero and one. It is not a statistical guarantee or a measure of how accurately the app understands your priorities. Sparse or overlapping records can distort the comparison. Review Life Timeline before drawing conclusions.

A score below 0.6 can produce the deterministic LOW_TIME_WELL_SPENT recommendation, subject to your preferences. It is an invitation to review the record and your priorities, not a judgement.

Time-well-spent results are self-only within the workspace. These operations use your actor identity; other members cannot choose your results through this view. Source records retain their own permissions.
